Kristen Hollinsworth is an American dance teacher, choreographer, performer, and Pilates instructor from New York City, USA. She trained at the Oregon Ballet, The Dance Center for Lines Ballet in San Francisco, and the Louisville Ballet School in Kentucky. As a modern dancer by profession, Kristen studied with some of the most esteemed teachers in the field, refining her craft with dedication and precision. She was a founding teacher and collaborative creator of the SUMAC program, Susan Marshall & Company’s summer intensive, where she taught improvisation and collaborative techniques to choreographers and dancers at both professional and pre-professional levels, mentoring them throughout the creative process.

In addition to her extensive work in dance, Kristen has choreographed for film, video games—including Bioshock 2—and has collaborated with numerous artists and choreographers across various mediums.

Kristen is also a certified Pilates teacher, having earned a comprehensive 500-hour certification from Smartbody in Amsterdam. She has incorporated her deep understanding of movement into her Pilates practice, offering students an engaging and precise approach to body conditioning.

She co-founded Seaport Moves, a dance school in Manhattan, New York City, and taught for many years at the Cobble Hill Ballet school, working with both children and adult beginners. Kristen has also been a guest teacher, leading masterclasses, staging, and restaging works at numerous prestigious institutions, including Princeton University, New York University, The Juilliard School, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and many others across the USA and Europe.
